Timeless Home Trends
I love getting a new home catalog in the mail. It always inspires intentional living spaces and gives me new ideas for displaying original art. I am not a fan of trends, but instead enjoy discovering timeless ideas with a fresh perspective—and there are so many goods ones this season!
Timeless Home Trends
1. Rattan.
I have to admit I am pretty obsessed with the idea of bringing this natural material into a living space. Typically, rattan pieces have an organic shape adding visual variety to the manufactured look of furniture. I also think that natural materials help a space look and feel less cluttered, bringing more intention to the living area.
2. Gallery Walls.
Gallery walls add a fresh perspective on displaying original art. The gallery wall concept is classic and definitely finds its place among art history, but I love that its back. Displaying original artwork in a varied way can help create its own statement within a room, while also letting your personal expression shine. It’s a beautiful take choosing decor for a room.
3. Matte black accents.
I am a sucker for black. I think it will always be a classic color that will never, ever go out of style. Combine it with a matte finish and that really sparks joy for me. I love seeing it featured on appliances, knobs, and even mixed in your dinnerware.
4. earth tones.
Warm earth tones will never feel irrelevant. I love bringing these colors into a home space and soaking it in as real statement pieces, like your bedding. It so luxurious but feels so natural.
5. Baskets.
For years, baskets have always been a great storage solution. I love this new take on using them as statement pieces, mixing the natural material into your everyday living space. They serve as function and form!
