Pigment sticks are a pastel art medium created strictly from natural earth pigments. Formulated using a water-soluble binder, they are almost entirely pure pigment with no fillers. Their hardness is most similar to a medium pastel and can be used dry or wet for an eco-friendly alternative to watercolor pans.

Every color in the assortment retains each pigment’s distinctive characteristics resulting in slight texture variance—they are incredibly complex and unique.

Note, indigo is the most unique color in the set due to it’s organic nature (plant based). It is quite soft and is best suited for deep shadows and watercolor washes. It is advisable to wear gloves during use.
