I make marks, capturing the whispers. They are fragmented, pieces, moments, shared with me.
I see the vista and I touch the earth.
I grind pigments between my finger and thumb. The smell of fresh earth. I push this into the paper, and slowly record the story here today.

I create each drawing from my personal archive of earth pigment ochres. Each color is carefully processed and slowly transformed into carre sticks. The drawing will arrive fixed to avoid smudging of pigment.
Drawn on Arches bright white 140lb cold press paper. Each sheet is acid-free to create an archival drawing.
