Lauren Sauder is a multi-disciplinary artist working across drawing, printmaking, collage, photography, artificial intelligence, and writing practices. Lauren is an avid collector and curator, and it is through her process of keeping moments, fragments, and atmospheres, she attempts to document the liminal spaces she encounters. She focuses on being present while creating, which requires leaning into the process's uncertainty instead of the process's destination.
Lauren Sauder graduated in 2015 with a BFA in Fine Arts from Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has received several awards, including those from Blick Art Materials, Minted, and West Elm. Lauren’s work is held in private collections around the world. She currently lives just outside of Baltimore, Maryland.
